Kitt provided thevoice for Yzma in The Emperor's New Groove and won two Emmy awards and two Annie awards for her portrayal of the character on the television series The Emperor's New School. Eartha Kitt remained active in film, on the stage and television until she died of colon cancer on Christmas Day of 2008."
