Joining the ranks of Fergie, Zoe Saldana and Reese Witherspoon, singer and songwriter Keri Hilson, 27, is joining Avon as the newest face of their Imari fragrance line and flagship Color brand.
"I'm so excited and honored to be Avon's newest face," says Hilson in a press release from the company that rakes in more than $8 billion in annual sales. "Avon has always been dedicated to empowering women through beauty. I've always strived to do the same with my music. To be a part of that experience means a tremendous amount to me."
And world's largest direct seller is equally happy to have her. "Keri embodies everything the Avon woman aspires to be -- beauty, grace, confidence and success," says Bob Briddon, Group Vice President, Marketing, Avon North America. "We are thrilled to have her on board as the face of Imari and our Color collection."
In 2009 Hilson rocketed to fame when her album, "In A Perfect World..." debuted at number one on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop chart and secured the number four spot on Billboard's Top Album chart.
She will appear make her first official appearance for the brand at Avon's annual sales conference later this month, and from August until the end of year Hilson will be featured in Avon's Imari and Color brochures.
