GlobalHue landed it!!
GlobalHue to lead Navy African-American, Asian marketing and advertising efforts
(May 14, 2009) GlobalHue, the nation's largest minority-owned multicultural advertising agency, was again selected by the U.S. Navy as part of a three-agency team to manage the organization's multicultural marketing and advertising campaign initiatives across the African-American and Asian consumer markets. The contract awarded to agency team leader Campbell-Ewald that was announced this week includes strategic planning, creative services and marketing communication efforts.
"GlobalHue is excited to use our unique strategic business model to strengthen and direct Navy's African-American and Asian outreach initiatives," said Allen Pugh, Vice Chairman of GlobalHue. "As an agency, GlobalHue continues to think out of the box to demonstrate the depth of our expertise and creativity in reaching multicultural segments."
GlobalHue has worked with Navy since 2000 and is responsible for some of the organization's most successful and award-winning African-American targeted campaigns including "Person in Me" and "Anchor." Recently, the agency conceived and launched mynavymyfuture.com, an interactive micro-site targeted toward college students and focused on Navy collegiate programs and careers.
Watch out General Market... you're next! Go get'em GH!

Thats nice and all, congrats and kudos do them, they won the asian and AA accounts. But why cant global hue lead the GM accounts either. THere certaintly big and talented enough to do just that. I would love to see the say when AA agencies start winning GM clients not just their ethnical targeted budgets.
Actually Ive never heard of a AA agency winning any major business of a major client. WHy are they always left with the leftovers. The game is twisted/
Anon, that's going to be a great day. It's coming. (if it hasn't already come)
It's awesome they got the contract, though Anon does have point.
How ironic. Clients always claim to seek agencies with global capabilities, yet GlobalHue never gets considered. Bwahaha!!!
HJ, you know how it is.
They have basically a minority owned multi-cultural agency working on minority work, big surprise there. Like the anonymous dude said when are we going to start seeing multicultural agencies getting to pitch and someday win the GM accounts. This is still blatant segregation. Clients don't give a damn about some letter Cyrus Mehri wrote to them , demanding diverse teams on the gm agency side. That will never happen. So they will continue to use only african americans on the AA agency side to market only to ethnic business. And if they dont want to market to do that. BLacks are screwed. I beg any one to answer this question. Why are clients confident enough to give multural agencies their AA and asian iniatives but not GM campaigns. I would love to hear the answer.
Did GlobalHue really win, or simply ride with Campbell-Ewald?
