The once beautiful wetland of the Niger Delta has been devastated by decades of pollution and neglect.
Shell is one of a number of oil companies operating in the Niger Delta, where there has been 2,000 major oil spills, ruining the lives of the millions of people who live in the region.
Shell cannot be allowed to get away with it. It is their leaks that have caused the problem, and it is time they cleaned up their mess and adequately compensated the people of the Niger Delta.
