In Ghana the construction of a new hydroelectric dam forcibly relocated several towns & families. The whole area had to be flooded to secure the power supply for other cities.
The photographer Devin Tepleski has shot a portrait series called "Sena." The former inhabitants of the town were photographed in the river that is all that's left of their home. On the photos exist the only visible remnants; a reflection of the people.
