I think it's a wonderful piece. It reminds me of the jeep stuff wieden is doing. Are they the hal riney of the 21st century? retelling intimate human felt moments and stories? It also feels like an evolution of Barack's "yes we can" message. Will it sell jeans? Maybe. But it's definitely a return to heritage. I expect we will see more timeless stories like this from weiden and others.
