The way Will's hanging out on the set it seems like DAD may have wanted a Jackie Chan movie more than junior did...
But what about this design? What do you think? I'm not sure if it's the font or that grainy background...but I don't dig this poster. It's a great COMP, but not a final.
I actually like the stark graphic nature of it. I has a classic early teaser poster look and feel to it. Sometimes I did when things are just attention getting. This poster does that.
Next I'm sure we'll get the cliche Jaden & Jackie half-face shadowy side by side thousand yard stare poster -- with little epitaph of Jaden in the background evoking that original "crane" style pose to get parents hyped up.
Scale of one to ten... 5, but you know I'm partial to red and black.
Teaser posters are easy compared to the full-on movie poster, which requires titles and credits that are often treated as an afterthought, like in the Brooklyn's Finest poser, for instance.
lol @ "dad I want a movie"...and I'm not mad at Will and his kid, particularly since it looks good from the teasers.
I am really looking forward to this and I love this poster - the colors and textures are among my favorite. I sort of wish we could see Jaden's face, but it sounds like that's coming. I'm not a graphic/ad designer so this is purely gut reaction.
