Thanks for this.

I will pass the list to all my colleagues; some could benefit from it more than I can!

Looking at his list, again, his number 2, "If you have a choice, never have a job," could easily be misinterpreted as: being jobless is better than having a job.

What I assume Mr. Glaser means is this: If you have a choice, never have a [menial] job, [but a career].

What do you think, kmba, my brotha?

(I may hold off forwarding his list to my "job," after all, lest THEY misinterpret it!)

A job is something you hate doing, because it's work. But if you're doing something you love, you'll never consider it work (i.e., a job).

E.T., Jimmy S,

"Never having a job" is maximizing your purpose. Doing what you do best and what you love to better others around you and your own life as a by product. The money shit happens.

Being employed doesn't mean you have a job. If you are selflessly contributing, giving and at times even sacrificing for the betterment of the organization, that shit feels great. Understanding the instant reciprocal nature your gifts. Sometimes It's like not working at all. It's being. Being you, being an active ingredient in the fullness, that's what we were put here for.

a JOB is what I own for myself, humpin' 24-7 down in the minor leagues!!!

You cats got them cushy big budget high-life Ca-reers!!! LOL!

When are you guys gonna do a work exchange project ?? Get some cats out of the farm leagues and see if they can cut the mustard for a week or two?? I'm batting 1000 on these 30 thousand dollar projects. Put me in the game coach! LOL!

But seriously, My work is small but I love it! I would do it for free. I Have helped 2 small but international clients get 10 and 12% growth respectively in the same year! the work wouldn't be considered beautiful by most standards, it won't win awards, not because I didn't fight for it to be lovely.

As a matter of fact I would have to translate to most people outside their niche why the ads worked so well. But for me, that's what love of work is right there...
When I can get in and make some shit happen for a client. Interpret the market and hit that sweet spot!

That ain't workin', that's love.
That aint a "JOB", that's my calling!

Very thoughtful reply, Craig. And, although I don't see eye to eye with you on all your points, I generally agree with your interpretation.

E.T. that's the beauty of it. We all have our own interpretation.
