Doesn't everyone have to hide something of themselves everyday? Does this ever happen to you?

Love it! Love it! Love it!
I really like the spirit and ideas in this site. My one complaint is, albeit, a technical one: in the first two pictures on the page here, the insinuation is that the person behind the stick-photo is using it as a mask that is deemed more acceptable to society. The third represents sort of a hiccup in logic as presumably the message is that the real woman is being covered and hidden by the garb, but if the same logic follows from the first two, this picture implies that the real woman is the person covered/hidden beneath the burka... and that she is presenting the mask of her natural appearance to the outside world... doesn't quite jive with the others.
It would make more sense if a nude or comfortably dressed woman were standing behind a stick-photo of a woman in head-garb.
Zach, good deduction, however, you seem to presuppose "normalcy" for the woman does not include her burka. It seems to me that she may prefer her traditional garb and feels persecuted for wearing it.
But I do see your point and it is a smart one.
Thanks Craig, what a great concept -- startling, simple and yet profound.
Powerful ad! A diluted version of this is being spun by USA network. They're calling it the Character Pledge.
