The Gazette: I had a dream

Ummmm... not so much.
The dream is still being sought after. Racism, Poverty, Indifference to suffering are all alive and kicking much ass. I understand the effort but, it's incongruous with the rhetoric of Dr. King.

Cred:
"When Barrack Obama was elected, Martin Luther King's dream came true. This ad was release the day after the election."

I had a dream...

What in the F*ck is that supposed to mean...

Just because Barack Obama is in doesn't make the lack of opportunity and equality given to African Americans better to swallow...We are still in the "trenches"...That only means 2 distinct things. One, those not living up to their potential will mostly be asked "What's your excuse?" And second, those who had to work 2 times as hard to get just a step ahead are now expected to work 3 to 4 times as hard...sad to me but true...

Oh, Canada.

BTW, how is that country doing on the diversity front? Well, they saw fit to introduce this campaign.

I was very disappointed to encounter this line of thinking the other day.

The sad thing is, there's a logic to this idea that I bet a lot of people will embrace.
